The Mayor of Panama City, Mayer Mizrachi, posted on the X platform that the Panama City Council has voted to pass a proposal allowing government public institutions to accept cryptocurrency payments, including taxes, fines, tickets and licensing fees. The first batch of supported currencies includes BTC, ETH, USDC and USDT.
