 law firm Greenberg Glusker announced that it had won a $33 million arbitration award against the telecommunications giant T-Mobile, calling the result a key milestone in holding telecommunications operators accountable for cryptocurrency theft related to SIM card swapping. The arbitration panel found T-Mobile responsible for multiple security failures that allowed SIM card swapping attacks to occur and resulted in cryptocurrency theft.
