Wayfinder (PROMPT): The AI Compass for Blockchain Worlds

Wayfinder (PROMPT): The AI Compass for Blockchain Worlds

What is Wayfinder (PROMPT)?

Wayfinder (PROMPT) is a blockchain platform designed to help AI agents work and move across multiple blockchain ecosystems. Think of it as a GPS for smart AI agents, guiding them through the complex world of blockchain apps, wallets, and transactions.

These AI agents, called “Shells” in Wayfinder, can own and manage their own digital wallets. They can buy and sell tokens, mint NFTs, or use financial tools—without any human help. They do all this by following “Wayfinding Paths,” which are like routes on a digital map made especially for blockchain.

Before Wayfinder, AI agents had no clear way to find their way around blockchains. Now, they can follow instructions, make smart choices, and even learn from each other as they go.

Who Created Wayfinder (PROMPT)?

Wayfinder was developed by Parallel Studios, the same creative minds behind the blockchain-based strategy game Colony. Parallel Studios built Wayfinder as part of the Echelon Prime ecosystem, a decentralized network of tools and games powered by blockchain technology.

While Colony is the first game to use Wayfinder, the platform is designed for much more than just gaming. Its creators believe that Wayfinder could help change how AI and blockchain interact in finance, trading, and many other fields.

What VCs Back Wayfinder (PROMPT)?

The specific venture capital firms backing Wayfinder have not been publicly disclosed in available sources.

However, Parallel Studios has undergone multiple funding rounds.

● The first notable round was in October 2021, where Parallel Studios received a $50 million investment led by Paradigm.

● In March 2024, Parallel Studios announced another funding round, raising $35 million from investors such as VanEck, Distributed Global, Solana Ventures, The Operating Group, Focus Labs, Big Brain Holdings, Devmons, Builder Capital, Base, and Spartan Group, along with notable angels like Solana co-founders Anatoly Yakovenko and Raj Gokal, Pudgy Penguins CEO Luca Netz, and YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon.

How Wayfinder (PROMPT) Works

Components

Wayfinder is a set of tools that lets AI agents interact with blockchains the way a human might—with even more speed and less effort. Here's a breakdown of how it works:

1. Shells – AI Agents with Wallets

Shells are AI agents that act independently. Each Shell is tied to a secure blockchain wallet. This means it can sign transactions, move assets, and interact with smart contracts. When someone creates a Shell using Wayfinder’s native token, that Shell becomes theirs to program, customize, and direct.

Shells can learn from experience. They remember past actions and results and share those memories with other Shells. So, when one Shell learns something new—like how to complete a trade—it helps the whole network improve.

2. Wayfinding Paths – The Smart Routes

These are like roads on a map. Wayfinding Paths tell Shells how to reach specific goals in blockchain environments, such as trading a token or joining a marketplace. Each path is reviewed and tested by the community before becoming available. Once approved, these paths are stored in a public library for any Shell to use.

Shells pay a small fee (in Wayfinder’s native token) to use a path. The people who build these paths get rewarded in tokens too. This creates a win-win system where developers are motivated to make helpful, safe paths, and users get smart tools that actually work.

3. Learning and Memory Sharing

One of Wayfinder’s big advantages is shared memory. If one shell finds a safe way to trade tokens or bridge assets across chains, other shells can use that same path. It’s like every shell is part of a shared brain that gets smarter over time.

That also means the network keeps getting smarter the more it’s used.

4. Natural Language Interfaces

You don’t need to be a programmer to use Wayfinder. Thanks to language models (like the ones that power ChatGPT), users can give Shells simple, natural instructions—like, “Buy an NFT from Collection XYZ if it’s under $100.” The Shell figures out how to make that happen.

This opens the door to a whole new group of users, including people with no coding experience.

5. Security First

Each wayfinding path has to be tested and verified by special agents (called Verification Agents) before it’s added to the network. Developers who create paths have to lock up tokens as a kind of deposit. If their path turns out to be dangerous or faulty, those tokens can be taken away.

6. PROMPT Token

Wayfinder is expected to launch its own native token called PROMPT. This token will be used for:

● Paying for shell actions and path usage

● Staking and security deposits

● Governance (voting on network decisions)

● Developer rewards and bounty programs

What Can You Do with Wayfinder?

Wayfinder makes AI more useful in blockchain environments. Here are just a few things it can do:

Trade cryptocurrencies: Shells can use trading apps to buy or sell tokens.

Buy and mint NFTs: You can send your shell to grab the latest NFT drop.

Bridge assets: Move tokens across chains without touching a bridge yourself.

Run automated strategies: Shells can dollar-cost average, react to news, or trade based on market movements.

Wayfinder also supports private paths, which can be used by only a few agents or require extra tokens to access. These paths may include special trading strategies, limited market access, or custom tools.

PROMPT Goes Live on Bitget

Wayfinder is still early in its journey. But its mix of AI, blockchain navigation, and community-powered tools could make it one of the most important platforms in Web3.

By making AI agents truly useful in the decentralized world, Wayfinder is opening the door to smarter apps, games, and financial tools. As more people build with Wayfinder and train their Shells, the system will keep growing, learning, and unlocking new possibilities.

It’s like giving every user a personal AI assistant that can think, act, and learn on the blockchain.

And for the future of Web3? That’s a pretty big deal.

At the heart of this system is PROMPT, Wayfinder’s native token. It powers the network, fuels Shell activity, and rewards the community for building new paths and possibilities.

Now that PROMPT is listed on Bitget, one of the leading crypto exchanges, it's easier than ever to get involved.
